The PTO shaft&#8217;s tractor-side yoke slides onto this stub via a splined connection (21-spline 1 3\/8&#8243;), locking it in rotation. Torque passes through the first cross-and-bearing assembly, down the telescoping profile tube, and through the second cross-and-bearing assembly into the Water Pump&#8217;s input shaft. The profile tube design (Star Profile Tube) provides both torque transmission and axial slide capability, critical as the Water Pump moves relative to the tractor during fieldwork.
